MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Most international undergraduate students receive an international merit scholarship from the University of Dayton upon admission.
Merit scholarships are worth up to $30,000 per year towards tuition costs. All students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship when we receive your application and required documents. The University of Dayton does not offer full tuition scholarships.

TEXTBOOK SCHOLARSHIP
You may be eligible to earn up to $4,000 over four years to cover the cost of your textbooks. A campus visit or video visit is required to be awarded this scholarship.
SUMMER SCHOLARSHIPS
MPOWER will award USD 8,000 this summer to support 12 international students in funding their educational dreams. On the first day of every month this summer, head to MPOWER’s website to find out the scholarship theme for that month. Applications will be open until the last Friday of the month.
Application Deadlines
The University of Dayton’s calendar year is divided into three terms. Application deadlines for international students are:
- Fall term (August through December) — May 1
- Spring term (January through April) — November 1
- Summer term (Transfer students only, May through July) — March 1
