Merit Scholarship From The University Of Porto
Merit scholarships are awarded every year to UPorto students with the best academic results. These scholarships are a cash prize for students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Integrated Master’s programs who display exceptional academic achievement, regardless of their socio-economic situation.
In addition, U.Porto awards Incentive Prizes to the best first-year students of each of its 14 schools/faculties. The prizes, equivalent to the amount of the annual tuition fees, are awarded during the commemoration ceremony on University Day.
SASUP Scholarships
If you are enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Integrated Master’s program at U.Porto, you can apply for a study scholarship offered by the Social Support Services of the University of Porto (SASUP). These scholarships consist of a monthly cash payment intended to contribute to costs related to attending the course.
Portuguese and European Union nationals, stateless persons, and nationals of countries that have cooperation protocols that foresee the reciprocal application of this benefit are eligible for this scholarship (students with International Student Status are excluded). The scholarship is granted and renewed annually, with deadlines and application results published on the SASUP website.
University Of Porto Scholarship
University Of Porto Scholarship awards undergraduate research scholarships and research scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral students. These scholarships are aimed at scientific training in research projects or institutions of science and technology, in Portugal.
As a rule, the scholarship duration is annual and extendable up to three years and cannot be awarded for periods of less than three consecutive months.
