The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) 2025, also referred to as the Singapore Government Scholarships for International Students, is now accepting applications from interested students. Pursuing further studies can be daunting after the first degree, especially where finance is the challenge. However, fully financed scholarships are available for pursuing a Ph.D. (soon after BS) through the SINGA Scholarship 2025. After earning a bachelor’s degree, students have the opportunity to get admitted straight to a PhD program.
Applications for fully-funded Singapore government scholarships are accepted from interested students worldwide. The Science, Technology and Research Agency (A* STAR), Nanyang University of Technology (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), and University of Technology and Design Singapore (SUTD) collaborate to offer the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA).

Singapore International Graduate Award Eligibility Criteria
- All international graduates with a strong interest in research and exceptional academic performance are welcome to apply for this scholarship. Note: International students enrolling in Singapore for the first time are the main target audience for SINGA.
- International students enrolled in or previously enrolled in Singaporean postsecondary institutions, as well as Singaporeans and permanent residents, are not eligible.
- Good written and verbal English communication abilities is an added advantage
- Positive academic referee reports.
Required Documents for Singapore International Graduate Award
Before you apply for this scholarship opportunity, please, prepare the following documents in advance and do not send paper documents to the SINGA office. All necessary documents must be submitted online.
- Passport: A recent passport-sized photo (in .jpeg or .png format). Transcripts and reports: ALL transcripts must be in English translation.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Transcript: Bachelor’s certificate or a letter of certification from the university.
- Recommendation letters: 2 recommendation reports are to be completed and submitted online by the referees.
SINGA Scholarship Benefits
Singapore Government Scholarships for International Students are fully-funded international scholarship. It will cover all expenses for up to 4 years.

- $ 2,000 monthly scholarship, which will increase to $ 2,500 after passing the Qualification Exam
- Single airfare grant up to $ 1,500
- $ 1,000 one-time accommodation allowance

- Please submit your applications as early as possible. This will provide ample time for your referees to submit their online recommendation reports before the application deadline, as only applications with 2 recommendation reports will be processed.
- Please check and ensure that all the data you have entered in the online application form is correct and accurate before you submit the application. Amendments to the application will NOT be possible after it is submitted.
