Entries for the Korea University Global Scholarship 2025 are now being accepted. Generally regarded as one of the oldest, biggest, and most prominent universities in Korea, Korea University was established in 1905. Its stellar reputation stems from its outstanding research, teaching, and community contribution to Korean society.
Only those who are nominated through the university-level Level Agreement are eligible for the Global KU Scholarship. Korea University launched the Global KU Scholarship in 2005 to commemorate its centennial. The goal of this scholarship is to encourage prospective global leaders from all around the world to enroll at Korea University.
KRW 100,000 to KRW 1,600,000 is the range of scholarship monies; further rewards are given out based on academic merit.

Korea University Global Scholarship Coverage
First Semester at KU: New Exchange students (university-level agreement only). The type and amount of scholarship will be decided by Korea University
Admission Scholarship: Starts from KRW 100,000 up to KRW 1,600,000 for the first semester
Travel Scholarship: Starts from KRW 100,000 up to KRW 1,500,000 for the first semester
Second semester at KU:
Continuing Exchange students (University Level Agreement only)
Awarded based on the academic merit of the first semester at Korea University, KRW 1,200,000 for the second semester.
Visiting students (Merit Scholarship only)
Only applicable to exchange/visiting students who participate in a one-year program at a university-wide level.

- One passport-sized photograph (attached to the application form)
- Letter of recommendation
Points to note
English must be used for writing and providing any documentation. If the document is in a language other than English, kindly attach translations in that language.
The applicant will not receive a refund for any documents sent with the application.
You must have a letter of recommendation from someone who can attest to your academic success. You need to send a letter to studyabroad@korea.ac.kr.
When making a selection, the Awards Committee takes into account several variables, including regional, strategic, and intellectual considerations. Every choice made is definitive and cannot be changed.
